What is Cryotherapy?

Whether you are an athlete, founder, executive, or wellness-focused professional, cryotherapy supports your body’s natural recovery processes so you can continue operating at a high level.

At Cool Indulge, all sessions take place in a private treatment room, with Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) in an individual cryotherapy chamber. During a standard session (typically reaching temperatures as low as approximately -200°F to -250°F), brief cold exposure triggers vasoconstriction — a temporary narrowing of blood vessels near the skin’s surface.² This response redirects blood toward the core.

When the session ends, blood flow returns to peripheral tissues (vasodilation), a process associated with increased circulation and oxygen delivery.² Many clients report feeling energized, clear-headed, and physically refreshed in the hours following their session.³

Cold exposure also stimulates thermogenesis — the body’s natural heat-producing response — which may temporarily increase metabolic activity.² Additionally, brief cold exposure has been associated with endorphin release and improved subjective well-being.³

Your Cryotherapy, Your Way:

Whole Body Cryotherapy

  • Modern take on the traditional ice bath: no need to dry-off after!

  • Exposes the body to ultra-low temperatures of about -225°F to -250°F

  • 3 minute session

  • Commonly used to accelerate post-workout recovery and destress

Our Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) involves exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures of -250°F for 3 minutes with the use of nitrogen gas.

At Cool Indulge, your entire WBC session will take place in a private room and individual cryotherapy chamber. This ensures consistent temperature regulation and privacy in comparison to other studios’ “locker room” cryotherapy layouts.

Localized Cryotherapy

  • 15-minute session

  • Focused cryotherapy on a specific area of the body

  • Popular choices include (but are not limited to) neck, shoulders, and lower back

Using the same -250°F nitrogen gas as whole body cryotherapy, the 15-minute session focuses on a targeted area to alleviate inflammation, pain, and muscle soreness.

Localized cryotherapy is also effective on the face to help reduce redness, wrinkles, acne scaring, and help build collagen within the skin to help tighten and glow.

LED Light therapy is highly-recommended following localized cryotherapy to encourage muscle recovery and pain reduction.
